Q: What information is displayed in the Staff tab?
A: The staff tab has list of primary teachers in the classroom & typically displays the following information for each staff :
- A profile picture.
- The Staff's name.
- Designation (eg. Lead Teacher, Associate Teacher etc. )
- Attendance status (eg. present , absent )
Q: How can I find a specific Staff in the list?
A: To find a specific student:
- Navigate to the "Staff" tab within the Classroom Profile.
- Locate the "Search Staff" bar, usually positioned above the staff cards.
- Type the name (or part of the name) of the staff you are looking for into the search bar.
- The list will automatically filter to show staff matching your search criteria.
Q: What are the "Select All" and individual selection checkboxes for?
A: These checkboxes allow you to select one or multiple staff for bulk actions such as marking attendance , sending messages to them etc.
Q: What is the purpose of the "Select Designation" dropdown?
A: The "Select Tag" dropdown allows you to filter the staff based on pre-defined designations added to the staff. For example, "Associate teacher" , " Assistant teacher" , "Lead teacher" .
- Click on the "Select Designation" dropdown.
- Choose a Designation from the list.
- The staff list will then be filtered to show only the staff associated with the selected designation.
Q: What does the "Clear All" button do?
A: The "Clear All" button is used to clear any active filters or selections you have made. Clicking it will typically:
- Deselect any staff you have chosen using the checkboxes.
- Remove any filters you have applied using the "Select designation", returning the list to show all primary staff in the classroom with their default status.
Q: What does a green dot next to a staff member's profile picture mean?
A: A green dot indicates the staff member is currently signed in or present at work.
Q: What does a red dot next to a staff member's profile picture mean?
A: A red dot signifies that the staff member is marked as absent.
Q: What does a greyed-out staff member profile mean?
A: A greyed-out staff profile indicates that the staff member is not expected to be working today.
